E. Karimova, Minister of Preschool and School Education, visited the Management Cadre Assessment Center of the Agency for Governance Efficiency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and familiarized herself with its activities.

The Center presented information on a new system being introduced to ensure greater efficiency and effectiveness in public administration.

In particular, the following were presented:

▫️ a modern model based on the “selection of civil servants — assessment — retraining — development” chain;

▫️ the “Passport” system for working with the reserve of promising civil servants, including graduates of prestigious foreign higher education institutions and Presidential Schools;

▫️ an information system for assessing the performance of civil servants based on KPIs;

▫️ an interagency data exchange platform for human resource management among institutions at the district, regional, and national levels;

▫️ the capabilities of a platform for diagnosing candidates for managerial positions and determining individual professional development trajectories for managers through the use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence solutions.

It was noted that the capabilities of this system will contribute to improving management efficiency in the education sector, assessing the potential of management personnel based on objective and modern criteria, and supporting their professional development.
